Audio Pro C10 MkII review: Excellent home audio March 31, 2022by Martin 6 When you have a manufacturer that has already made a great speaker, there isn't always a clear and obvious set of ways to improve it. But adding a few handy wireless connections and getting it out is more than OK in our books. Best Smart Speakers: Premium Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri speakers available for purchase That's exactly what Audio Pro has done with the C10 MkII speaker. This is a clear example of how to subtly improve a classic, with the only loss in the updated model being the funky handle - which may still divide people's tastes - which is actually shown.
The Audio Pro C10 MkII version sounds as great as ever, and it's even C Level Executive List more comfortable than before. Here's what we get out of it: Choose your type Magnetic grille (cover can be removed) Dimensions: 166 x 320 x 180mm Available in black, white, gray colors The world of home speakers is a crowded one, with smart speakers from the likes of Amazon and Google vying for shelf space by offering voice assistants and other connectivity options, but we still find that many mainstream speakers look great and beautiful. general Here's where we start with the C10 MkII: we really like how this speaker compares to the mid-range. It is strong and heavy and does not hide its purpose, whether you have it in the gray version (as we tested) or the black or white alternatives. With the control panel presented in a contrasting metallic finish, there is a reserve to the speaker, but this mainly applies when you attach the optional panel and leave it with a retro look covered in fabric.
Remove the grille - which is very easy to do thanks to the magnetic contact points - and you'll make the speaker a more modern and functional piece, giving it more of an appearance. The main driver and two tweeters are there for all to see, proud and loud. It's to Audio Pro's credit that we could never really decide which of the two looks we preferred - they both suited certain moods perfectly, so we switched between them quite often, which the same cannot be said for most speakers on the market. A small loss compared to the first C10 is the leather handle, which on the original model helped a lot to move the speaker around. Without it, the speaker is said to be more tool-like and easier to place in certain places, so we can see why it got the axe.
